Bright & Clean: My Experience with RBF Progiene’s DUX Pro‑Spot 5

What Is It?

I recently tried DUX Pro‑Spot 5 Oxygen Stain Remover from RBF Progiene. It’s a hydrogen peroxide–based liquid that releases active oxygen to lift stains, brighten fabrics, and whiten whites. Safe for colourfast fabrics, it works as a pre-soak, pre-spray, or an additive in machine washing — a gentler alternative to chlorine bleach.

My Test: Colour Shirt + White Shirt

I tested it on two shirts:

  1. A coloured shirt

  2. A white shirt

For both, I pre-sprayed the stained areas and then washed them as usual.

Colour Shirt Results

  • After washing, the coloured shirt came out spotless — no visible stains.

  • The shirt’s colour remained vibrant, showing that the oxygen formula is effective yet gentle.

  • The treatment felt like a powerful stain remover without harming the fabric.

White Shirt Results

  • On the white shirt, the Pro‑Spot 5 made it look bright and fresh.

  • Stains were completely gone, and the fabric appeared visibly cleaner.

  • It provided a whitening effect without the harsh smell or damage of chlorine bleach.

Pros & Highlights

  • Effective on both coloured and white garments

  • Safe for fabrics, gentler than traditional bleach

  • Versatile usage: pre-soak, spray-on pre-treatment, or detergent additive

  • Professional-grade: part of a line used in laundry, dry cleaning, carpet, and upholstery industries

Tips for Best Results

  • Patch test coloured fabrics first to ensure no fading

  • Follow dosing instructions for optimal stain removal

  • Store properly in a cool, sealed container

  • Pre-spray dwell time: let it sit 1–2 minutes before washing

Verdict

The DUX Pro‑Spot 5 from RBF Progiene delivers exactly what it promises: bright, clean clothes without damaging fabrics. For anyone tackling tough stains while preserving fabric and colour, this is a top-notch choice.
